Distinctive Notoriety
PartagasIn 1845, Don Jaime Partagás opened the doors of his famous factory in Havana for the first time where he introduced one of the oldest and most renowned Cuban cigar brands. His cigars have been made in this factory ever since, except for the years between 1987 and 1990, when the factory was closed for restoration. As a consistently outstanding brand of Cuban cigars, Partagás won several gold medals in at least three international expositions held in Paris in 1867, 1878 and 1898.
Partagás vitolas exhibit a rich blend of tobacco, all of which are rich with earthy flavors. The Partagás brand is typically full bodied, making it a cigar of choice for the more seasoned cigar smokers. Being one of the truly great old Cuban brands, Partagás cigars continue to be in huge demand, even though their several vitolas are produced in large quantities.
